Hello, I am Noor
Project manager and parent. An expat living in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
A few years ago, I moved here with my family. What began as a temporary contract gradually unfolded into a new chapter of life abroad.
How It Began
Moving to Netherlands wasn't in the plan for the long term. Like many international moves, it started as a work opportunity and soon grew into something much more significant.
The initial months were demanding — new systems, new routines, new expectations. Routine tasks seemed more complex than expected.
The Adjustment Phase
There was culture shock, uncertainty, and a lot of learning by doing. Yet gradually, routines settled in. We found places that suited us, met other families, and began building something that felt steady.
Why I Created Kirxen Titorx Iretat Ol
Most online information was either relocation advice at a corporate level or superficial tourism material. What was missing was a candid, everyday family viewpoint.
This site exists to fill that gap — practical guidance drawn from real life in Netherlands.
